EL TEXTO DE ESTA CORRESPONDENCIA SE RELACIONA CON LOS QUEBRANTOS DE SALUD QUE PADECE Y EN VISTA DE ELLO, LE HA SEPARADO TEMPORALMENTE DEL CARGO DE COMANDANTE GENERAL DEL EJÉRCITO DE ORIENTE Y LE HA DESIGNADO PARA SUSTITUIRLE, AL GENERAL SOUBLETTE. DEJÁNDOLE EN LIBERTAD SU TRASLADO A ESTA CAPITAL POR RESTABLECERSE. *

Informado de los males que V.E. padece y de que le impiden conducir inmediatamente el ejército de su mando al lugar de la asamblea general, he tenido a bien conferir el mando de él al señor General Soublette y permitir a V.E. que pase a esta capital a restablecerse.
